After reading many stories and listening and hearing about Boeing new airplane model. The course of action I would suggest that the company should take is to train pilots about the new planes model. Boeing designed the 737 Boeing Max 8 to be the exact as the other 737’s model. Except it is different from the others model such as larger engines placed farther forward on its wing, new software to work automatically, and informed pilots about the new features. Boeing thought that pilots do not need any train of any kinds since they are all experience and let the computers do the work.

Another course of action Boeing should have done is to have Federal Aviation Administration to certify the new models instead Boeing did most of the certifying work since they want to approve the new airplane models faster. That something Boeing should have not done since they knew the risk and lawsuit they are facing.

The reason behind all this is Boeing is looking to save cost and time for this new models to go in the market without hesitating of following the right procedures. Another things is Federal Aviation Administration should have take advantage on this new models for safety and procedure. I think it unethically for companies to think about money and time instead of the safety of the passenger. Now, both crashes happened that caused to not only face lawsuit, but the responsible death of the passengers. Since, Boeing and Federal Aviation Administration do not have the same concept and careless to follow the rules. I rather have both them following the procedure just to be safe and save money and time. Instead, they both have lost money more than they expected than any other years in aviation history.

Martin stated software can caused risk not only on aviation, but also on vehicles, medical and other technologies that automatically run itself. Who do you blame? The company, the software, or the people who are running the equipments?

The Vox reporter, Emily Stewart, who publish a story about “The Boeing 737 Max 8 Crashes And Controversy, Explained”, talk about a new Boeing model has crashed twice within six months apart and the whole world is on edge. After the second crash with the same model airplane in different countries. The Federal Aviation Administration has decided to ground on all planes as result of a failure crash. The second crash shock the world not, because it killed all the passenger, but the same model have been flying across the countries. According to Federal Aviation Administration, during the second crash, about a total of three hundreds and seventy eight Boeing 737 Max 8 models were operating including seventy for in the United States. People have been putting Boeing under pressure due to the crashes. Not only just Boeing, but aviation industries across the nation. Here are what people are saying.

After hearing and reading about people’s opinion. I agree on all of their insight since both Boeing and Federal Aviation Administration should have taken action ever since the first crash. Why did Boeing take so long to investigate the crash within six months of each other? Why did they not listen to pilots complaint? The crashes for both Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 have woke the aviation industry that lead to serious investigation worldwide and causing all Boeing 787 Max 8 to stopped taking-off again. The ethical situation is that the Boeing failed to respond and solve the problem that eventually lead to crashing. Since the pilots announced their decision to investigate the plane, the Federal Aviation Administration failed to act on it. Boeing Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Muilenburg spoke to President Trump about not to ground Boeing 737 Max 8 since Boeing is still investigation the causes of the two crashes of their planes. The Federal Aviation Administration have decided to take action as well to ground all Boeing new planes. The company was very disappointed about stock losses that lead to twenty eight billion dollars from it market values since the Ethiopian Airlines crash.

Both crashes are still currently under investigation and there no words about what really caused it. So far, they believed that new automated systems that was added to the Boeing 787 Max 8 causing it to change the game system in automated system. Boeing added additional features that lead the pilots to frustration and lack of training. No training was given to the pilots about the new feature system since the airplane is so much bigger and more fuel efficient than any other planes in the history of aviation. What next is the United States Senate will be involved in the investigation as well to to change Federal Aviation Administration’s certification on new feature and new planes. Boeing are pressuring other passenger’s family about not pursuing legal actions, starting to change the feature on automated system, and train pilots to prevent crashes on the 787 Boeing Max 8. The recent news about two Boeing 737 Max 8 Jets, the world most popular jetliner crashed within six months apart due to automation systems failure. Automation system is widely used in commercial aviation and has been making the skies much safer and easier for pilots. Pilots are starting to realized that many other pilots are relying on this technology too much which would eventually lead to crashing. Aviation industry believes this benefits them for passengers safety. Recently, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash within a few minutes after taking off due to automation failure killing all one hundreds and fifty seven passengers. Another crash was involved in Indonesia killing one hundreds and eighty nine passengers that was also involved in automation failure.

The ethical dilemma is that half a dozen pilots have complained about automation system have been acting weird, but nothing was done during the time until the two crashes. As the company continues to investigate the problem and realized that the initial report showed that the automation system have been acting weird on all Boeing 737 Max 8. Since then, the Federal Aviation Administration have halted all Boeing 737 Max 8 for taking-off. The problem with automation system is that many young generation pilots rely on automation system while older generation pilots know the operation manual. Another ethical dilemma is someone made a statement that “commercial aviation is going to become more and more automated. These crashes, in my opinion, simply aren’t going to change that in the short term.” Automation have starting to become popular in aviation since commercial aviation have been working hard on artificial intelligence.
